And breathe……September has arrived!
We just want to take this opportunity to say a huge thanks to all of those who have supported us this summer. We have been busier than ever before in our self-catering cottages, with guests old and new paying us a visit. The feedback we have received has been fantastic and we continue to be busy right through to October. For those of you wishing to book a break with us either in our hall or one of the cottages on the estate, don’t hesitate to get in touch and we will try to accommodate you. We still have availability as we move in to the winter months including Christmas in the cottages and New Year’s Eve when we will have our annual firework display! The Llyn Peninsula offers so much out of the busy summer season in terms of beaches, restaurants and fantastic activities to enjoy. You are also only a few miles from the Snowdonia National Park and all that it has to offer. Autumn is one of our favourite times of year. We’d love you to experience it here with us at Talhenbont.
It has been a strange yet rewarding time. We have had our faith restored after a scary few weeks in March by speaking to our wonderful couples who were meant to be celebrating the biggest day of their lives getting married here at Talhenbont. They have been hugely understanding as to the constraints put on us from an operational point of view regarding our weddings. All have rescheduled for either later on this year or moved their big days to 2021. We continue to work closely with them to ensure they feel happy and confident in what we can offer them here at Talhenbont. It is times like these that we pride ourselves on offering a bespoke service and maintaining a close relationship with the couples that we work with. Some of them have even paid us a visit and stayed with us this summer after their wedding had to be postponed. It was lovely for them to experience Talhenbont and has only added to the excitement in the build up to their big day in the near future.
We are still taking bookings for weddings and to be honest, it is busier than ever with enquiries. We have availability on certain dates next year. Why not come and see the estate for yourself this October on our Wedding Open Day on Sunday 4th. This is strictly by appointment only and can be booked online. See the estate dressed and our stunning Coach House and grounds. Enjoy a glass of fizz with your nearest and dearest and meet the team and suppliers.
As a family we have made the most of this time to build on the offering here on the estate and as we move into the autumn and winter, we continue to grow and develop. Roll on 2021.
