We are often asked for tips and advice on who to approach once you have chosen Talhenbont as your venue. We pride ourselves on our reputation and we are careful to only recommend experts in the wedding industry who we know will offer the same level of customer service from start to finish that has been key to the success of Talhenbont. Over the coming weeks we will be collecting our Talhenbont “Little Black Book” of those within the industry that we can, hand on heart, recommend.
The first business we would like to feature is the incredible Hayley’s Piped Dreams. We first came across Hayley a number of years ago, in her previous job as a talented hairdresser. Little did we know her talents also lay in the art of baking! Hayley lives in Morfa Nefyn with her husband and two young children. She began making cupcakes and celebration cakes 7 years ago.
Hayley tells us –
“I never thought I’d be where I am now, an award-winning cake designer creating multi-tiered wedding cakes for couples across North and Mid Wales. I’ve always been a creative person and I love every aspect of what I do, from the initial cake design, to meeting my couples, baking and finishing each and every cake and delivering to some of the most stunning wedding locations.
I’m fortunate to have formed some fantastic working relationships over the years; I’m a recommended supplier at Talhenbont and have collaborated with some highly talented stylists, florists and photographers on a number of fabulous photoshoots. I’ve had my work featured in several national wedding magazines and online publications as well as being awarded ‘Best Wedding Cakes – North Wales’ at the Welsh National Wedding Awards in 2015 and 2016, along with The Welsh Wedding awards 2018.”

Hayley has been present at a number of our open days at Talhenbont and is always so friendly and accommodating to couples. Her wedding cakes are works of art and we are very lucky to be able to recommend such a talented cake maker that is based on the Llyn Peninsula.
