Reflecting on a big year

Reflecting on a big year at Talhenbont Hall Estate

2021 has been the busiest year Talhenbont Hall Estate team has seen in all its years of hosting weddings and private events. It’s the year we have enhanced more potential the estate has, it’s when we hosted many beautiful events, appreciated the rural magic of the estate with fresh eyes during the lockdowns, and were pushed to enhance our services to suit the needs of our couples.

As one of the owners, I thought it would be the right time to write a blog about my reflection on this year and how we did what we did in 2021.

2021 Weddings

With much uncertainty around weddings and restrictions at the beginning of 2021, we are finishing on such a high. We’ve hosted a record number of events in such a small timeframe and worked around the clock to make these special days happen and be so perfect. Many of our couples had to wait a long time to celebrate their weddings but finally they did just that! We’ve seen couples think freely in terms of design, adding their personal touches, making their special day utterly theirs and celebrating hard with their loved ones.  The creativity of our couples this year has been unwaveringly magical. Every one of our weddings will hold a special place in our hearts, we’ve been through a lot with each of them when planning their weddings during the unknown, which makes this year extra special for myself and my team.

Helping guests to enjoy the estate to the full

We used the downtime of 2020 and beginning of 2021 to complete many projects on the estate, and as a growing business navigating a pandemic, we were grateful to have enough time to perfect everything before the wedding season officially started. The Coach house catering kitchen was added along with the addition of the luxury rest rooms. All of which were designed and completed by owner Paul.

The gardens also underwent lockdown transformations that we are immensely proud of, and we will be announcing our latest addition to our couples in early 2022 which is our wonderful Coach House Terrace. Without giving away too much too soon, the Coach House Terrace will offer a magical outdoor reception space overlooking the parkland and river with features of firepits, benches, and romantic lighting…

So, what’s next for Talhenbont Hall?

In a nutshell, this is just the beginning for us. We have lots of exciting plans and events in the pipeline that we will share in due course, and we are busy planning weddings with the lovely couples booked for 2022 and beyond, plus a styled shoot with the incredible Dale Alexander Events. The Talhenbont Hall Estate is so close to our family’s hearts, the Estate has been my fiancé’s family home for a long time, and this is a big part of why our business and the personal service we offer is so unique. Creating exceptional experiences for our guests in our favourite place in the world is what we love to do, and we feel so privileged to be doing lots more of this in 2022.

Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2022, thank you for your continued support.
