Spring Weddings

With Daffodils now on our doorsteps many couples are looking at having a spring wedding. There are many unique benefits to a wedding in the spring that come with the season.

One of the main benefits to having your wedding in the spring is the flora. From daffodils and wildflowers to tulips and lilacs, there is a massive range of flowers available during the season that can make for bold and unique displays and bouquets. The wide availability of flowers also allows for large, fresh flower displays. Arches of assorted wildflowers or roses in particular are much more accessible compared to the colder months.

While themed weddings aren’t for everyone, spring is the perfect time for anyone planning to have an Easter wedding. A church wedding ceremony coupled with the pastel colours, flowers and some easter theming could make for memorable day. Weddings with younger guests may also benefit from some Easter décor and could result in some great photos with them.

With the weather warming up and the skies clearing, outdoor weddings are also a possibility once more. Gift bags or boxes for your wedding party are popular at the moment as a small thank you to those who helped make your big day happen. Gifting small flowers or plants, small sweets and pressed flowers make for great seasonal and easy to source gift. If you’re having a natural/wildflower wedding, gifting local honey, macrons or other seasonal produce also make the most what’s seasonal.

Overall spring weddings are perfect for bright and fresh designs and plenty of flowers, though as with all seasons with the right venue any sort of wedding can be possible this season!
